Janice DaCosta is a powerhouse of transformation, purpose, and leadership in motion. A certified life coach, influential voice, and published author, she has dedicated her life to helping others reclaim their stories and lead with intention.

Her leadership and influence have been recognized both nationally and globally. Janice was the 2025 Induction Speaker for the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), a two-time recipient of the Living Leadership Scholarship through NSLS, a proud honoree of the 2023 President’s Volunteer Service Award, and a Marquis Who’s Who recipient — distinctions that underscore her contributions in leadership and service.

She currently serves as President of the University of Phoenix Charlotte Alumni Chapter Leadership Council, championing connection, engagement, and meaningful opportunities for alumni, and previously served on the executive board as the Director of Social Media for the University of Phoenix- NSLS chapter.

Janice’s influence extends beyond U.S. borders — she was a featured speaker in Budapest, Hungary, presenting at a major global summit for a leading chemicals company, where she addressed critical issues surrounding the global export of hazardous materials and their industry-wide impact.

Janice is the voice behind SeeWhatISee.blog, a transformational travel blog chronicling sacred journeys, cultural awakenings, and unexpected life lessons across the globe. She is also the host of Choose You: The Quiet Rebellion, a podcast inviting listeners to unlearn self-abandonment and rise — unfiltered, unshrinking, and unapologetically whole.

Her leadership and voice have been featured in multiple publications for her impact and influence, including Voyage ATL Magazine, Bold Journey Magazine, Voyage Raleigh Magazine, Canvas Rebel Magazine, and the University of Phoenix Alumni Chronicles Magazine (Spring 2025 edition).

Crafting TEDxMallardCreek with Intention- Janice has reimagined what it means to curate a TEDx experience. For the 2025 TEDxMallardCreek event, she took a unique, people-first approach by inviting speakers to present talks rooted in their deepest passions and lived experiences — then crafting the event’s theme, Threads That Shape Tomorrow, around the collective power of the ideas from the selected speakers. This fresh approach not only honors each speaker’s authentic voice but also creates a richer, more connected experience for the audience, reflecting Janice’s belief that the best conversations emerge when passion leads the way.
